There are many fantastic web statistics tools available. Indeed, we use a selection to analyse how effective our marketing efforts are, what kind of people are visiting our site, and how well our content is performing.
But we wanted something extra. We wanted a higher-level view of how visitors perceive and understand our website – the user experience. We wanted a tool that didn't just help us identify usability and information architecture issues, but one that would also help us test and implement improvements. This is the Clickdensity vision.
Clickdensity is quickly becoming such a tool. Of course, there is some overlap with web analytics. Clickdensity does include some core web analytics features that supplement the usability tools. But as one of the world's first user experience tools, you should be using Clickdensity alongside your existing web analytics software to understand the complete picture of how your users and website interact.
